The Native

Wild steelhead are the state fish of Washington. These Iconic game fish are an important part of the cultural and economic legacy in the Pacific Northwest but have been reduced to a fraction of their historic abundance. Overharvest, habitat, degradation, including human constructed barriers to migration, misguided management strategies, and ineffective hatchery practices have all contributed to the decline, and in some cases, extinction of wild steelhead runs. You can support wild steelhead by enjoying this craft wine and joining the Native club.

When you join the Native club, 20% of your purchase will go back to the wild steelhead coalition.

You have the choice of 6 or 12 bottles per year, released every year in the spring.

The wine will be a Cabernet Sauvignon from the famous Red Mountain area in Washington state. Wines from this region typically go for $50 and up! The Native wine will be $35 a bottle.

The membership will also give you two tickets for our big release party every year and access to limited t-shirts, hats, and hoodies.

Wild Steelhead Coalition

The wild steelhead coalition is dedicated to increasing the return of wild steelhead to the waters of the West Coast. Founded in 2000 by a group of conscientious steelhead anglers and advocates, determined to make lasting change for this iconic species. For more than 10 years, the WSC has worked to build partnerships, educate stakeholders, and change policy on behalf of the fish. We rely on the support of our members and contributors to make this work possible. To learn more about the wild steelhead coalition click here.
